A made-to-measure wooden bar system that turns a doorway into a spot for active indoor play. Two side supports in natural 12 mm BB birch plywood are screwed to the inner sides of the door frame, and a solid hornbeam bar (35 mm / 1.38 in) rests in round seats between them.

  • Single-Level: one bar position at the top of the doorway.
  • 5-Level: five bar positions, so you can move the bar up or down.
  • Your door still closes: with the set installed, you can close the door as usual.
  • Made to your measurement: enter the inside width of your doorway when you order. Maximum finished bar length is 101 cm (39.76 in).
  • Drilling required: long screws pass through the wooden jamb into the wall behind it. Screws and wall plugs are included.

Will my door still close once it's installed?

Yes. With the set installed, you can still close the door as usual. If your door frame is unusual and you'd like us to check, send us a photo before ordering.

How long will my order take?

Made to order in 3–5 business days. Shipping transit times are additional and follow our Shipping Policy. FedEx Express transit after dispatch is typically 2–4 business days to the United States and Canada, and 1–2 business days to the United Kingdom and Europe. What is included with my order?

Two birch plywood side supports, one round hornbeam bar made to your measurement, locking pieces, screws and wall plugs. Single-Level comes with 4 screws and 5-Level with 8. Add-ons you tick in the order form arrive as separate items.

What is the difference between Single-Level and 5-Level?

Single-Level has one bar position at the top of the doorway, with 85 × 215 mm side supports. 5-Level has 85 × 800 mm side supports with five bar positions, so you can move the bar up or down.

Are the swing seat and rings included?

No. The swing seat, acrobatic ring set and extra bar are optional add-ons. Tick the ones you want in the order form above. The swing seat comes with 3 m of rope and the ring set with 2 m of rope.

Can I add an extra bar?

Yes. Tick "Add extra bar" in the order form. It is made to the same doorway measurement you enter for the set.

What materials is it made from?

The side supports are 12 mm BB birch plywood. The bar is solid hornbeam, 35 mm (1.38 in) in diameter. The swing seat and the acrobatic rings are 12 mm birch plywood.

Is the wood painted or varnished?

No. All the wood is left unpainted and unvarnished.

How do I measure my doorway?

Measure straight across the opening, from the inner face of one side jamb to the inner face of the other, near the top where the side supports will go. Don't measure the decorative trim. Measure at two or three heights in that area, use the smallest number and enter it exactly — don't subtract anything. See the measuring guide.

What is the maximum bar length?

The maximum finished bar length is 101 cm (39.76 in). That's the length of the bar itself, not the maximum doorway width. If your opening is close to this size or wider, contact us before ordering.

Can I order a custom size for a hallway?

Please contact us before ordering for a custom size or a hallway installation, and tell us your measurements and wall type. We'll let you know what's possible.

Does installation require drilling?

Yes. Each side support is screwed through the wooden jamb into the wall behind it, so you'll need to drill.

Is it attached to the door trim or the wall behind it?

The wall behind the jamb. Long screws pass through the side support and the wooden jamb into the wall structure. It is not attached only to the decorative trim. See how it mounts.

Are screws and wall plugs included?

Yes. Single-Level includes 4 screws and 5-Level includes 8, plus wall plugs. Walls differ, so check that the included fixings suit your wall; some walls need different plugs or anchors.

Is my doorway and wall suitable for installation?

It depends on how your doorway and the wall behind it are built, which varies from home to home. If you're not sure, send us photos of your doorway and your measurements before ordering and we'll take a look.

How do I change the bar height on the 5-Level model?

Take out the locking pieces, lift the bar out of its round seats, place it in another pair of slots at the same height on both sides, and put the locking pieces back. Height can only be changed on the 5-Level model.

Can I remove the bar when it is not in use?

Yes. Take out the locking pieces and lift the bar out of the slots. The side supports stay on the jambs.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is calculated at checkout from our standard FedEx Express rates for your country. Orders with two or more items ship free. Shipping details.

Will I pay import duties on a US order?

No. U.S. orders ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — Venocci handles customs clearance and U.S. import duties with FedEx, so there are no import charges to pay on delivery. Orders to Canada, the UK and Europe are not DDP; import duties and taxes there are the recipient's responsibility.

Will it fit my doorway?

Each set is made to your measurement, so the number you enter matters. Here's exactly what to measure.

  1. Find the two side jambs. These are the flat wooden surfaces on the inside of the opening, facing each other. The side supports mount here.
  2. Measure jamb face to jamb face. Measure straight across, near the top of the doorway where the side supports will go. Don't measure the decorative trim on the wall.
  3. Check it twice. Measure at two or three heights in that area and use the smallest number.
  4. Enter the exact number. Choose inches or cm and type what you measured. Don't subtract anything — we work out the bar length from your measurement.
